This page of IGN's Kirby and the Forgotten Land walkthrough contains information for the Forgo Land and tips for the fights against Forgo Leon and Morpho Knight. We've also included some information about what you can obtain after completing the post-game. Forgo Land is the final stage in the Isolated Isles - Forgo Dreams post-game area. You can visit Forgo Land once you’ve collected at least 250 of Leon’s Souls from the previous six Forgo stages. Forgo Land is composed of two consecutive boss fights. Come prepared, because this is the most challenging set of battles you’ve faced in the game thus far.

Come Prepared to Fight

There will be one Maximum Tomato at the entrance of the area and two abilities available to grab. However they're tucked on the edge of the area, and it’s easy to get the tomato by accident if you’re too close to it. The abilities also disappear shortly after the first battle.

Since there are basically no health items available throughout this whole ordeal, increase your chance of success by stacking attack plus and speed items before coming into battle. Use a double health item to increase your health, and bring one as your only takeaway item to have in the battle. Use it once all your health is about to deplete and it’ll fill up both health bars entirely.

Consider using the Masked Hammer ability, as it’ll be the strongest power you’ll have at this point. Also make sure that whenever you lose your ability from getting hit, you inhale it as soon as possible. There will be no other abilities available to absorb throughout the entire rest of the battle. If you lose the ability you came in with, you’ll only have the stars to use for attacking.

Possessed Beast Forgo Leon

The fight against Leon is practically the same as the time you fought him the first time. The biggest change comes from the phantom possession halfway through the battle. During this phase Forgo Leon is much quicker and much more sporadic.

He’s got two major attacks that you need to look out for - the hyper beam and the ground pound. The hyper beam is actually quite easy to evade and it also takes a while to complete which allows you to get several hits on Forgo Leon while he’s shooting far in the distance. The beam can only fire in the direction he’s facing. Look for the tell that comes before the beam (he starts grabbing his head). When you see this move either to the left or right and start running toward him diagonally. You’ll be able to avoid the beam and have several seconds to openly attack him.

The ground pound has a big tell as well. Forgo Leon will combine both his paws and hold them over his head before bringing them down as a massive fist. The shockwave this move leaves behind has a big area of effect. Worst of all, he’ll usually follow this attack with a couple more.

Fluttering Dream Eater Morpho Knight

Morpho Knight is FAST and likes to teleport. They’re like a supercharged Meta Knight, but with more fire and gimmicks. The Morpho Knight Sword can also increase in size to deliver even more damage. Morpho Knight has a lot of tricks and attacks frequently.

They’ll distort the arena, making the camera tilt over and the controls feel more sluggish. This only lasts a few seconds. They can send out an image of Soul Forgo that will follow you and explode on contact. When this happens keep moving and try to bait the apparition to make it explode on Morpho Knight instead!

Morpho Knight uses lots of fire, and a major one of their attacks creates several fire tornados to spread across the arena. This move leaves them very susceptible to your attacks if you can slip between the tornados and attack Morpho Knight while they still have their sword in the ground.

After taking about half of their health down, they’ll begin incorporating another devastating move by increasing the size of their sword and slamming it down consecutively. Dodge the slashes left or right, but most importantly is to dodge the third part of this attack. They’ll slice with two swords on either side of them and cause walls of fire to travel to the center. Quickly dodge across the fire and run up to Morpho Knight to attack them.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land True Ending

Once Morpho Knight is defeated you’ll be able to get the Morpho Knight Sword Blueprint to evolve the sword ability. The Morpho Knight Sword is the strongest weapon in the game. You can charge up the sword to make it grow huge and deal massive damage. Once you’ve gotten the evolution, you’ll also unlock a secret Morpho Knight Sword Treasure Road in Redgar Forbidden Lands.

The credits movie at the end of the Forgo Lands is considered the true ending of the game. Once you return to Kirby’s house you’ll find a new picture on the wall to commemorate the accomplishment. Additionally, you’ll also be able to unlock the third (and final) cup in the colosseum called Ultimate Cup Z!
