My experiences with CFISD are primarily bad. The rules at the school are too strict especially with absences, whenever I was sick and missed school, I would provide a doctor's note thinking it would excuse the absence, but it doesn't. The administration at CFISD is little to no help and provide no useful information that will actually help a student. Whenever I needed to talk to my counselor, I would send in a request to see them when they are available just for them to turn me down on the scheduled meeting time, this has happened to me and several of my friends at school. However, some of the faculty members do provide help and useful information to the students. I would like to see a change in the administration, it needs to be people who actually want to help the students achieve their goals and see them become a successful member of society, it doesn't need to be an individual who feels like they are only there to babysit some teens while doing a mediocre performance at their job.

The district as a whole is one of the top tier in the area, competing with other districts like HISD and KISD. I started in HISD in elementary but later moved to CFISD. The change in curriculum was a complete turnaround compared to how I was learning in other school districts. It wasn't difficult to catch on because the teachers there were extremely helpful. As I moved onto Middle school, the encouragements from my teachers continued and I found my love of the arts. Reading, creative writing, drawing and painting along with an array of learning tools prepared me for high school. Once in high school, I found what I considered my purpose and theatre along with writing became my calling. In high school, my teachers pushed me to be great in my own way. To see my potential and home in on my skills. With encouraging coming from a number of teachers and counselors, I entered into a few art exhibits along with theatre shows. I can't say I had bad experiences in CFISD. It made me who I am.

I believe there is room for improvement in terms of campus infrastructure and technology integration. Updating facilities and expanding technological resources could further enhance the educational experience for students. Additionally, a greater emphasis on sustainability initiatives would align with the college's commitment to both academic excellence and environmental responsibility. Overall, my time at here was positive, but I see opportunities for growth that could benefit the entire community.
