There are many characters that can visit your town. These characters do not move in, but instead stay for an allotted amount of time and perform special functions. You can speak to Booker to find out if a visitor is in your town. Some cannot be identified by Booker. These are Gulliver, Pascal, and Wisp.

Blanca[edit]

Blanca will occasionally turn up in town after you turn on WiiConnect24 (no longer available). She will ask you to draw her a face and won't leave your town until you do.

Chip[edit]

During the Fishing Tourney, Chip will be outside the town hall. Talk to him and he will measure a fish for you. However, he will eat it, so don't give him a fish if it hasn't been donated to the museum.

Franklin[edit]

Appears between 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Harvest Festival, which is the fourth Thursday. Save Franklin from becoming the Thanksgiving dinner to earn rare pieces of the Harvest series. The full list can be found here.

Gulliver[edit]

Randomly appears in the sky on weekdays, when no other visitors are in your town. Gulliver will fly across your town in a UFO and take about 17 seconds to get to the other side. Shoot down his UFO and he will appear on the beach the next day. There, he asks you to find his spaceship part. After you find it he will reward you with a rare item. Unlike Animal Crossing: Wild World, you don't have a second screen so shooting down his UFO is more difficult than before.

Rewards[edit]

  • Arc de Triomphe
  • Chocolates
  • Compass
  • Mannekin Pis
  • Matryoshka
  • Merlion
  • Mermaid Statue
  • Metroid
  • Moai Statue
  • Mouth Of Truth
  • Pagoda
  • Plate Armor
  • Tower Of Pisa
  • Tribal Mask

Jack[edit]

Make sure you have candy to trade Jack when he comes Trick-or-Treating on October 31st between 6:00 PM to midnight, for pieces of the Spooky series you can't buy back. The full list can be found here.

Jingle[edit]

On December 24th between 8:00 PM to midnight he'll come to town delivering pieces of the Jingle series you can't buy back. The full list can be found here.

Joan[edit]

Appears every Sunday from 6:00 AM to noon. Joan offers two types of turnips each week: white and red. Red turnips must be planted in the ground and watered everyday so that they may increase in size and be sold for a profit a week later. White turnips are a riskier investment as they cannot be sold for a fixed price. Like real-world stocks, their value is always fluctuating. The goal is to sell them within the week for a profit, before they spoil.

Kaitlin and Katie[edit]

After you connect to Wi-Fi (no longer available) with a friend you will get either Kaitlin or Katie in your town. If you get Kaitlin, she will say she lost her daughter Katie in one of your friends' towns. If you get Katie, she will be crying by the beach and tell you she lost her mommy, asking you to bring her back to her. When they reunite, the person with Katie in their town will get an item from them.

Rewards[edit]

  • Apple TV
  • Lily-Pad Table
  • Lovely Phone
  • Music Box
  • Papa Panda
  • Portrait

K.K. Slider[edit]

Appears Saturday nights from 8:00 PM to midnight in the Roost. He will sing a song that you can bring home and put in your stereo, but you can't buy them back or sell them.

Nat[edit]

Pascal[edit]

Pascal will randomly appear on a weekday on one of the bridges in your town. If you have a scallop, he will trade you a piece of the Pirate Theme furniture you can't buy at Nook's. After you talk to him without a scallop, however, he will jump into the river and float away.

Pavé[edit]

Talk to Pavé at Festivale (you'll need to just check the bulletin board for each day) with some candy and he'll give you some furniture. Pavé requires a random color of candy (blue, green, red, and yellow) three at a time, and he will give you a piece of the rare Pavé series. The full list can be found here.

Saharah[edit]

Sahara appears randomly on weekdays from 6:AM to noon. She will ask you for old carpets or wallpaper from your neighbors. When you get three she will give you a rare carpet or wallpaper, but if you have less than three she will give you a carpet or wallpaper you can buy from Nook's. The best thing to do is save the old carpet and wallpaper for next time she visits.

Snowman[edit]

When it's snowy in your town, you may notice little snowballs around now and then. If you roll them up, you can make a Snowman, but he'll only reward you if you make his head a little smaller than his body. Otherwise he'll just chatter a bit and feel not very well proportioned. After he will reward you with a piece of the rare Snowman series. The full list can be found here.

Wendell[edit]

Appears randomly on weekdays from 6:AM to noon asking for food. When he does, be ready to give him a fruit, fish, mushroom or turnip. After this, he will give you one of his patterns and talk about how nice everyone is in the town and how he can't wait to visit again.

Wisp[edit]

Wisp appears randomly when you find his empty lamp. Wait until 9:00 PM and you will hear a faint voice near water. Follow it until Wisp finally appears and then he will tell you he lost his lamp. Remember the empty lamp from before; he will need it. Once you have the lamp, give it to him. He will thank you, but he will ask if you can bring him to your attic because he's afraid of ghosts. Once in your attic, you will notice your empty lamp is now a magic lamp. Rub the lamp and Wisp will appear and ask what you want him to do (pull weeds, smash roaches, give item). Afterwards he will leave and take his lamp.

Zipper T. Bunny[edit]

Find Zipper T. Bunny in front of the town hall and trade the bunny foil that you might find inside eggs buried around town. Bunny Day runs from 6:AM to midnight post-vernal equinox on the Sunday after the first full moon, so you may want to check the bulletin board. If you give him a bunny foil he will trade you for the rare Egg series. The full list can be found here.
